Stylish brewery owners with airline miles that match George Clooney’s decided to hire Regan Baker Design to transform their beloved Duboce Park second home into an organic modern oasis reflecting their modern aesthetic and sustainable, green conscience lifestyle. From hops to floors, we worked extensively with our design savvy clients to provide a new footprint for their kitchen, dining and living room area, redesigned three bathrooms, reconfigured and designed the master suite, and replaced an existing spiral staircase with a new modern, steel staircase. We collaborated with an architect to expedite the permit process, as well as hired a structural engineer to help with the new loads from removing the stairs and load bearing walls in the kitchen and Master bedroom. We also used LED light fixtures, FSC certified cabinetry and low VOC paint finishes. Regan Baker Design was responsible for the overall schematics, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, as well as the selection and procurement of all fixtures, cabinets, equipment, furniture,and accessories. This project involved replacing a worn and damaged garage door spring for a homeowner in Evanston, IL. The door had become heavy, noisy, and difficult to lift, creating a safety concern for the family. Our team inspected the system, identified the failing spring, and installed a new high‑cycle torsion spring designed for long‑term durability. We also performed a full system balance, tightened all hardware, and lubricated the moving components to ensure smooth and quiet operation. The result was a safer, easier‑to‑use garage door with improved performance and reliability. Projects like this highlight the importance of proper garage door maintenance and professional installation. Our goal is always to provide homeowners with safe, dependable, and long‑lasting solutions.

This bathroom renovation kept the vintage ambiance while incorporating a few contemporary finishes. We replaced the pedestal sink with a contemporary square, wall mounted sink & faucet, repainted the radiator in a glamorous silver color, installed octagon-designed floor tiles, new subway tile, designed a sleek medicine cabinet, and installed two shower shelves that were safe and out of reach from the client’s children.
